Chelsea told to break club record bid and they have to splash money for Serie A defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
Former Juventus manager Antonio Conte is keen on signing a replacement for the club’s talisman John Terry who is expected to leave the club at the end of the current campaign and has identified Koulibaly as a perfect successor the legendary defender.
After changing formation to the 3-4-3 system means that Italian manager is eyeing further back-up at the defensive end. Conte has failed in an attempt to sign Senegalese International defender during the January transfer window. However, Conte remains a huge admirer of 25-year-old centre-back and could break the club-record transfer.
Napoli’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis claimed that the club turned down £58million bid from Chelsea and now Premier League giants could be forced to make a £60m approach for one of the best centre-backs in Serie A.
Any deal for Coulibaly will smash the clubs record transfer that has been held by Fernando Torres who has joined the club from Liverpool Back in 2011 for £50million.
