TOBY ALDERWEIRELD is being tracked by hosts of European clubs including Tottenham’s Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea.

The Belgium defender has struggled to secure regular first-team football under Mauricio Pochettino after returning from injury this campaign.

And it is believed that the contract dispute is causing friction to his relationship with the Spurs.

He has two years left on his current deal with the London club and his £25m release clause has been attracting option for Chelsea, Man Utd and PSG.

And now, according to the Daily Mirror, the Premier League heavyweights planning to make an official approach for his signature in the coming transfer window.

The 29-year-old centre-back has been one of best defenders in England over the last three season and would be a perfect addition to either Manchester United or Chelsea.

And Pochettino appears to be ready to ship him out in the summer as he plans squad overhaul ahead of 2018/19 season.

The Tottenham boss wants £100m to spend this summer in order to turn his club one of the contenders of Premier League title.

Express Sport believes Alderwierld will be among those let go, with the Spurs hopeful of getting £40m for his signature.
