Chelsea are weighing up move for Atletico Madrid’s 23-year-old winger Yannick Ferreira Carrasco, according to the Don Balon reports.
Spanish newspaper claims that Carrasco’s agent, Christophe Henrotay, have made it clear that Premier League clubs Man United and Chelsea are ready to activate the £86m release clause of Belgian winger.
Both Premier League giants are keen on to strengthen attacking options in the middle of the current campaign and they are ready to break the bank to push their chances to the title.
Henrotay has confirmed the existence of the bids for the 23-year-old, noting that Bayern, Juventus and Man City are also interested.
Although the highly-demanded winger signed a contract extension with the Spanish giants this season, which ties him down until 2022, a recent altercation with the coach Diego Simeone may force the player to leave the club.
The London giants are planning to swoop in for Carrasco and will not hesitate to trigger his £86m release clause.
This term 23-year-old winger has scored 10 goals for Atletico Madrid with three assists and it has reportedly provoked huge bids from Chelsea and Man United
