AC Milan are reportedly planning to cash in on Italy international goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer.
Both Chelsea and Manchester United have been heavily linked with the 19-year-old stopper.
The news that Donnarumma could be available this summer could give Real Madrid chance to make an approach for David de Gea and Thibaut Courtois.
Liverpool are also in the market for a new stopper with Jurgen Klopp hasn’t been convinced with the form of Lloris Karius and Simon Mignolet.
However, Real Madrid and PSG are also lurking with a view of luring Donnarumma away from San Siro.
And now AC Milan director Massimiliano Mirabelli revealed that they could be forced to cash in on Italian wonderkid in the upcoming summer transfer window.
He told Mediaset Premium: “He is part of the club’s heritage and we wouldn’t let go of him easily unless of course, someone values him the way he must be valued.
“If a good enough offer arrived, any of our players could be sold.
“There are far richer clubs out there, and we have to choose other paths.
“Let’s not kid ourselves that we can return to being the Serie A of the past that attracted so many champions.
“We never will attract them. It’ll be very difficult.”
With the future of David de Gea and Thibaut Courtois remain up in the air following the interest from Real Madrid it could see the Premier League heavyweights to go head-to-head in the transfer race to sign Donnarumma.
