Chelsea have slapped a £17.5m price tag on highly-rated African forward Bertrand Traore amid interest from Ligue 1 giants Lyon.
According to RMC, Burkina Faso forward could continue his career in France after a successful loan spell with Ajax as Chelse and Lyon have been negotiating over the striker’s transfer.
Traore has spent the 2016/17 season on loan with the Dutch giants Ajax, scoring nine goals in 24 Eredivisie appearances and led the team to Europe League final.
He looks no closer to breaking into the first team at Chelsea, with Antonio Conte planning to sign a world-class forward this summer.
Lyon boss Bruno Génésio has been a huge fan of Traore, and planning to complete a permanent deal for the African forward.
However, it has been reported that the Blues are demanding around £17.5m and may dent Lyon hopes of completing a move.
Meanwhile, another Chelsea starlet Domenic Solanke has left the club on a permanent basis.
The Blues Premier League rivals Liverpool have completed the transfer of highly-rated Englishman as little as £3m.
Chelsea second choice goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has also left the club on Permanent basis and signed for Bournemouth yesterday deal believed to worth £15m.
