The Gunners have registered their strong interest in Henderson however, according to the Mirror reports now Chelsea have joined the race and could hijack a move for his signature.
Henderson was part of England’s U20s squad at the World Cup the last term, but he is keen on to secure regular first-team football elsewhere.
However, Chelsea and Arsenal could provide him with a better chance of breaking into the first-team squad with Thibaut Courtois is likely to sign for Real Madrid, while Petr Cech is expected to end his playing career in the nearby future.
The likes of Watford, West Brom and Southampton are also thought to be keen on to secure the services of 20-year-old goalkeeper.
