Chelsea are reportedly favourites to sign highly-rated AS Roma forward Umar Sadiq during the summer transfer window.
The defending Premier League champions have already been linked with a switch of attacking options ahead of the summer transfer window, and recent reports claimed that they have identified Sadiq as their top transfer target for the upcoming transfer window.
Sadiq joined Torino on a season-long loan deal last summer as Roma aimed to deliver first-team football for their starlet who has attracted interested from hosts of European giants including Premier League heavyweights Chelsea and Manchester United.
Roma then decided to loan Sadiq out to Eredivisie club NAC Breda, where he is currently in a good spell of form.
The 21-year-old explosive forward has found the back of the net three times in the Dutch top flight from only six games. Just two of these came as starts.
Manchester United were heavily linked with a move for Sadiq back in 2016, however, now Chelsea seems to be the frontrunners to secure the services of talented Nigerian forward.
