Arsenal and Chelsea have handed a massive blow in their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura after he had agreed terms with Chinese Super League club Beijing Guoan.
According to the Goal reports, 25-year-old Brazilian forward has made only five substitute appearances this term following the arrival of his compatriot Neymar and Kylan Mbappe, he has been deemed surplus to requirements under Unai Emery.
Defending Premier League champions have reportedly identified Lucas Moura as a replacement for Willian.
The Gunners are also believed to be keeping tabs on the former Sao Paulo star, who was advised to make a move to Arsenal by his former PSG teammate Alex, while Jurgen Klopp also identified him as a replacement for Philipe Coutinho who is expected to leave the club in January amid strong interest from Barcelona.
All three Premier League clubs look set to miss out on their transfer target with Brazilian forward likely to sign for Chinese club Beijing Guoan.
The Chinese Football Association has attempted to curb the spending of its major clubs by bringing new sanctions into place, but Beijing Guoan are believed to be exploring ways to ensure the deal goes through.
