Danny Drinkwater who has joined Chelsea during the summer transfer window in a reported £34m fee has allegedly emerged as a possible transfer target for their London rivals West Ham United.
Last season, England international midfielder has completed a move from Leicester City to Stamford Bridge, however, Drinkwater has been limited to just 13 appearances in the Premier League under Antonio Conte.
A report has suggested that 28-year-old midfielder could consider his future at the end of the current campaign, and according to a post from Twitter user EXWHUemployee, The Hammers could make an approach ahead of the new campaign.
West Ham United are still trying to remain in the English top-tier for another 12 months, however, if successful, a move for England international midfielder could become realistic as he is desperate to leave the Stamford Bridge in order to play regular first-team football elsewhere.
Meanwhile, another Chelsea midfielder Tiémoué Bakayoko has been rumoured with an exit from Stamford Bridge after French anchorman failed to secure the regular first-team football under Antonio Conte.
