Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Julian Brandt who has been recently linked with a switch to Liverpool and Bayern Munich has revealed that his not afraid to reject big name clubs.
Brandit has already rejected Bayern Munich and he is ready to do it once again in order to remain with Leverkusen.
The 20-year-old is reportedly being monitored by scouts of Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp planning bolster his squad’s attacking potential in the middle of the season.
However, Liverpool could be dealt a huge blow after midfielder has indicated that he is ready to extend his stay at Leverkusen and for that he will turn down any offers he will receive.
‘I would not be scared to dismiss Bayern for a second time,’ Brandt told Bild.
‘The same goes for other clubs, too.’
When asked about signing a new contract with Leverkusen, Brandt replied: ‘Of course that is possible.
‘I feel very comfortable here and I know what I’ve got here. We’re constantly in good talks.
‘If it were up to me, the summer would be the right time [to renew]. I don’t want to deal with this forever. It gets annoying and performances will suffer because of it.’
