Another injury report for Premier League giants Liverpool, after suffering a recent shoulder injury Sadio Mane may be set for another spell on the sidelines due to a knee problems.
According to Senagalese news outlet Galsenfoot:
“After sustaining an injury, Mane had to be subbed off in the 66th minute of Senegal’s game with Namibia today.
“Mane allegedly suffered a ‘knee’ injury in first half, and was ‘not well’ in the second, prior to be subbed.”
The striker was withdrawn after 66 minutes of Senegal’s 2-0 win over Namibia in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be hoping the problem isn’t too serious for his £34million summer signing as Premier League champions Leicester prepare to visit Anfield next weekend.
Sadio Mane has seven days of recovery time ahead to get fit for Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Leicester City, but obviously, it all depends on the severity of the injury.
Mane has started the season in fine form for his new club, the highlight being a stunning goal he scored against Arsenal on his debut and facing the Foxes without him would be huge blow.
