Former Arsenal star Perry Groves would ‘absolutely love’ Arsene Wenger to sign world-class midfielders Steven N’Zonzi and Ross Barkley.
Arsenal have enjoyed a successful transfer window thus far signing Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac, while both Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil likely to remain at Emirates Stadium.
Wenger is still working hard looking for quality players in the market to strengthen his squad ahead of 2016/17 season.
And Arsenal Legend Groves believes the French boss should make an approach for 23-year-old English midfielder Ross Barkley who is expected to leave the club this summer.
He told Bwin Sports: “I’m a massive Ross Barkley fan and think he could be perfect for us. I’d love him at Arsenal.
“He’s got something that other players don’t have. If you can get Barkley for £25m, that’s a no-brainer.
“He could play behind Lacazette or alongside Xhaka – I’d love to have him.
Groves would also would love to see Sevilla’s midfield destroyer Steven N’Zonzi at Emirates Stadium.
Groves added: “I’m not just saying this because I watched him , but I’ve been a massive fan of Steven N’Zonzi.
“I think he could do a real job in the centre of that midfield for us, adding the steel he did at Stoke and Blackburn. He’s a destroyer.”
The 28-year-old midfielder has impressed for Sevilla in their 2-1 win against Arsenal in the Emirates Cup.
