Arsenal and Manchester United both have sent scouts to keep a close eye on Aston Villa’s centre-forward Keinan Davis as the 19-year-old attacker has managed to score his second goal in three appearances.
The Premier League heavyweights have become aware of the England Under-20s star’s recent form that has seen to force his way into Steve Bruce’s starting XI.
The 19-year-old attacker was given his opportunity in the absence of Jonathan Kodjia – who is missing the start of the new season through injury – however, he is now partnering the Ivorian frontman in what is proving to be a dynamic attacking duo.
Since the attacking pair have been unleashed, Aston Villa have won three games on the spin convincingly, beating Nottingham Forest 2-1, Barnsley 3-0, before thrashing Burton Albion 4-0.
Davis was on the scoresheet against both Burton and Barnsley as he banged in two brilliant headers and seems to be a player with a bright future.
Bruce has been fielding him in front of Villa’s £12million striker Scott Hogan, and it’s no surprise that the Premier League’s elite are starting to sit up and take notice.
Arsenal and Manchester United Premier League rivals Everton also had officials watching him, according to the Mirror, and if he continues to impress for Villians, he might secure a move to the English top-tier.
