Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio has reportedly told the club chief Florentino Perez that as many as five top teams are interested in signing him.
The 22-year-old Spaniard has established himself as one of the best talents in Europe. However, he has been limited to only 11 starts in La Liga despite Madrid’s terrible domestic form so far this campaign.
Asensio remains keen to remain at Real Madrid, but Diario Gol reports that he would be prepared to leave the club in order to secure first-team football elsewhere.
Among the interested parties are Premier League heavyweights, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea, with the latter thought to be particularly keen to sign the 22-year-old winger in an attempt to improve the form of their club record signing Alvaro Morata.
However, fellow European heavyweights Bayern Munich and Juventus are expected to fight for the Real Madrid stars signature.
The report claims that the top teams across Europe were interested in signing of Asensio during the January transfer window, however, the Los Blancos are unwilling to lose the Spaniard who has found the net eight times and provided five more in the process.
