Premier League clubs will have to part with £88m to sign in-demand Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.
The 26-year-old defender is a target for several Premier League giants including Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea.
Manchester United are in the market for a centre-back as Jose Mourinho plans to sign a perfect partner for Eric Bailly in the Reds defensive area.
Arsenal are in a similar situation they are in need of a new centre-back following the injury of Laurent Koscielny and the possible departure of Per Mertesacker.
Senegal international Koulibaly is aerially powerful and could easily adapt in the Premier League.
But his Serie A club who finished the season second behind Juventus are demanding a huge transfer fee for his signature.
Koulibaly scored five goals in Serie A this campaign.
His agent Bruno Satin said of his future: “It’s too early to talk about the future.
“The lad will play until the end of the season to try and get as many points as possible.”
Arsenal initially wanted Jonny Evans to bolster their defence, however, are also keeping close tabs on Freiburg centre-back Caglar Soyuncu who has been valued at £35m.
Meanwhile, Manchester United see David Luiz as their another top transfer target this summer with Brazilian centre-back is keen on to leave the Stamford Bridge stadium for the next season.
