Arsenal are set for a significant rebuild this summer after another frustrating Premier League season has left the North Londoners on the brink of missing out on a top-four finish for the second year in a row.
Significant investment is expected crossed the squad, and lots of attention is likely to be focused on the club’s midfield zones, as both Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla are both ready to leave on free transfers in the next months as things stand.
That would leave Arsenal with only Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka and Mohamed Elneny as main senior central players in the squad and the Gunners are believed to be eyeing a versatile, young addition to improve their depth.
Italian newspaper CalcioMercato state Arsenal are one of some European clubs to submit an offer to Atalanta’s highly-rated midfield ace Dejan Kulusevski, who has secured seven assists for the club’s U19’s this campaign.
While the Serie A club are keen to retain his signature, Kulusevski is yet to play a senior game for the club and is drawing a wealth of interest heading into the summer window.
