Arsenal have reportedly decided to make a big-money offer to Besiktas midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup who has previously played with the Gunners between 2008 and 2012.
Ozyakup then-youngster only made two appearances in the EFL Cup and now has been rumoured with a shock summer return to the Emirates Stadium.
The Turkish midfielder has since gone on to shine for Besiktas – with making 186 appearances in all competitions – however, the 25-year-old midfielder has less than six months left on his current deal and could make a return to Premier League giants.
According to Aksam, Arsenal head-coach Arsene Wenger has taken the opportunity to try to bring Turkish midfielder back to North London, and an offer has been made ahead of a potential switch at the end of the 2017/18 season.
Ozyakup is likely to attract offers from other high-profile European clubs over the coming months.
Meanwhile, Bundesliga outfits RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner has revealed that he is interested in a move to England amid interest from Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United.
The German forward who moved to RB Leipzig from Stuttgart back in 2016, has found the net for 16 times in 29 games this term.
The 21-year-old forward has admitted that he does not want to tie himself down when it comes to seeking new options abroad.
