Arsenal planning to tie down Alexis Sanchez at Emirates Stadium with a new deal and make him the highest paid player in Premier League.
Arsene Wenger is ready to reward his key player by offering him a £300,000-per-week salary.
The Copa America winner forward has 12 months remaining on his current deal at Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners have previously seen their £225,000-per-week contract offer rejected by Chilean.
And with the risk of losing him for free next season Arsene Wenger ready to offer him a new bumper deal, according to the Daily Mail.
Sanchez ready to leave the Arsenal in search of major silverware, however, doubling his salary could see him remain at Emirates Stadium for the next season.
The 28-year-old forward has been linked with moves to Man City and PSG this summer, but manager Arsene Wenger is confident that Chilean forward will stay at Emirates Stadium.
The £300,000-a-week offer will make Sanchez highest paid player.
In an interview with SFR Sport 1, Wenger said: “He’s an Arsenal player in the short term. Now, will we manage to extend his contract?
“We didn’t manage to do that last season so I’m not super optimistic in that regard, but we have the firm intention of not selling him.”
