Arsenal have sent scouts to keep a close eye on the performances of Serbian winger Andrija Zivkovic at European Under-21 Championships.
Last year 20-year-old winger has been rumoured with Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool move but he left Partizan Belgrade for Benfica.
Serbian winger has scored 24 goals in 93 games since becoming a regular first-teamer, however, he has struggled since then.
Zivkovic has played 23 games for Benfica last season and managed to score only one goal.
Still, Record report that Arsene Wenger remains a huge admirer of 20-year-old winger who has £52.5million release clause in his current deal with Portuguese giants.
It seems highly unlikely that the Gunners pay that fee at the moment, however, Arsene Wenger is planning to hold negotiations with the Portuguese giants over Zivkovic’s transfer.
Benfica have a proud record of developing young talented kids into a top-class player and sell them on a high-profit latest example of that has been Lindelof’s £30million move to Man United.
Last summer they have done the same with highly-rated Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches who has joined Bayern Munich for €35m
