The Gunners welcomed Hednesford Town winger, Cohen Bramall, to the training ground last week to watch him up close against better quality players.
According to the Mail, Arsenal are considering making him a surprise signing despite the young talent never playing a single minute of professional football.
Last season, he was playing for Market Drayton who are all the way down in the eighth tier of English football but he has since signed for Hednesford in the Evo-Stik Northern League Premier Division.
He was turned down as a teenager by Crewe Alexandra but the Gunners are said to be considering bringing him in to play in their Under-23s’ side.
If he’s given a deal by the Premier League giants, it would be another signal that the big clubs in the top flight are looking at non-league talent following the remarkable rise of England international Jamie Vardy.

And it seems that Wenger has begun looking at potential replacements. Borussia Attacking duo Marco Reus and Christian Pulisic seems to be ideal candidates to replace World-Class duo at Emirates Stadium.
Meanwhile, Arsenal still continue to negotiate with Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil hoping to tie them with long-term deals and fend of interest from top European clubs.
France international forward Olivier Giroud has revealed that he has been close with Arsenal over extended contract after his late goal against Crystal Palacce secured three points for Arsene Wenger’s side.
The 30-year-old centre-forward has celebrated his first Premier League against the Eagles this term and after finding it hard to play first team football.
Until the clash against Crystal Palace the club who had recently changed manager Giroud has found his time limited, however, he has been in the starting lineup for Arsene Wenger and after the match Frencham has confirmed that the talks over contract extension has been on going.
“I came back a bit late from the Euros and it was nice for my body because I could rest but not good for me because the team was doing well and another striker was doing well up front,” he told Sky Sports News.
“This season has been difficult because also I was injured for a month and a half so it hasn’t been easy. I don’t want to talk too much about me but it was a big day for me, but a turning point for the team because if we didn’t win we would have been in trouble.
“But football is an everlasting new beginning, as I used to say, and you always have to keep focused and wait for your time. People have been saying I have signed a new contract – it is not true but maybe soon.”
