Juventus are considering a shock summer move for Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin.
The Spain u-21 international defender has been heavily linked with a return to Barcelona in the recent years, however, according to the reports from Italy Juve ready to Hijack the Catalans move for 22-year-old right-back.
Reports earlier this week suggested that the representatives of Hector Bellerin have met Barca officials over defenders possible move to Nou Camp.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus are interested in the Arsenal defender as they are desperately searching a top-class replacement for former Barcelona star Dani Alves.
The veteran Brazilian defender is expected to leave this summer, and Bellerin is one of the top targets of Massimiliano Allegri.
However, Juve could find it hard to compete with the emotional pull of a return to Nou Camp if the 22-year-old defender decides to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.
And Barcelona are also confident that they are the only club Spaniard would leave the Gunners for this summer.
Meanwhile, Juventus defender Alex Sandro has been linked with a switch to the Emirates Stadium and Wenger could use Bellerin as a makeweight in a deal for Brazilian defender.
Arsenal are hopeful they can beat Everton in the transfer race for Genk’s star Sander Berge, according to reports.
The Norwegian wonderkid is generating a huge interest from Premier League this summer, with Monaco and Sevilla are also keen on to lure him away from Luminus Arena.
The 19-year-old midfielder has made 27 appearances in total for Belgian outfit Genk over the course of the campaign, where he has impressed with his ball-winning ability and a range of passing.
According to the Mirror report, Arsenal scouts have watched Berge numerous times and now planning to make a move for £18million rated player who has been recently linked with a switch to the Merseyside Blues.
‘At 18 he is already very mature. He is intelligent, reads the game well, and takes the initiative. He has the potential to become a future leader.’
The report comes amid questions over the quality of Arsenal’s current defensive midfield options.
Arsenal currently have Mohamed Elneny, Granit Xhaka and Francis Coquelin at the defensive midfield position and Berge unlikely to become a starter of the Gunners starting XI, however, will have opportunity to step up his game and convince Wenger to give him a chance.
