Arsenal have launched a bid for Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado in the summer transfer window.

Colombia international forward has impressed during his two-year loan spell with Juventus from Chelsea and last month he has joined Serie A champions Juventus on a Permanent basis.

According to The Sun, Italian giants have had to fend off the Gunners advances in the recent weeks and turned down a £17.6million approach for South American Forward.

It’s believed that the Gunners’ bid was identical to the figure Juve paid the Blues for the 29-year-old winger.

The Gunners are preparing for life without Alexis Sanchez, and Arsene Wenger is already in the market for a new frontman.

Reports suggest that 28-year-old Copa Americ Winner is reluctant to leave London and could sign for the Gunners bitter Premier League rivals Chelsea.

Bayern Munich and Man City are also in the hunt for Arsenal superstar who has one year remaining on his current deal.

Meanwhile, Cuadrado who has failed to establish himself in Premier League is happy with his life in Italy and have no intention to leave Serie A Champions in the nearby future.
