Atletico Madrid head-coach Diego Simeone has instructed La Liga giants to sell Yannick Carrasco during the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old forward has played a key role in the Spanish side’s success in recent years, however, has been involved in some high-profile bust-ups over the course of the last season.
According to AS, Belgium international forward was reported to have surplus requirements under Diego Simeone and Argentina international ready to allow former Monaco star to leave Wanda Metropolitano after the season ends.
Atletico were barred from signing players during the summer transfer window, however, have already agreed deals for ex-Chelsea forward Diego Costa and Las Palmas attacker Vitolo, both of whom will be eligible to play from January.
Carrasco was linked with a move to the Emirates stadium in the summer transfer window having reportedly been identified as a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez, while Antonio Conte is keen on to lure him at Stamford Bridge stadium with Willian is expected to leave the club in January.
Carrasco is believed to be valued at €96.3m by Football-observatory and both London club are keen on to secure his services.
