The agent of Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez has reportedly contacted with Manchester City over a possible move to Etihad Stadium in January.
The Citizens were believed to be on the verge of signing Chilean superstar during the summer window, with Sanchez even putting pen to paper on a new deal with the club only for the Gunners to pull out of the deal once they were unable to find a replacement.
Chile international forward was reportedly left furious with the Gunners refusal to sell him and Goal reported that he is now determined to secure an exit when the transfer window will be re-opened on Monday.
Arsene Wenger’s side could also be willing to sell the Chile international forward rather than losing him for free after the season ends.
Reports have claimed that there is a growing rift between Sanchez and a number of his teammates due to the Chile international’s attitude following a string of unconvincing performances.
The Citizens had initially been willing to wait for the expire of Sanchez’s contract to sign him for free after the season ends – despite expected competition from Ligue 1 giants PSG, however, the player himself is reportedly desperate to push move to Etihad Stadium in January.
Sanchez has scored seven Premier League goals for the Gunners this campaign, including a match-winning brace against Crystal Palace last weekend.
