Defending Premier League champions, Chelsea are refusing to give up on signing Brazil international right-back Alex Sandro – even though he is on the verge to sign a contract extension with Serie A giants Juventus.
Chelsea have tried hard to land Brazilian defender during the summer. However, Juventus keen on to keep a hold on him.
Now the defending Premier League champions preparing lucrative new terms for Sandro in order to lure him away from Allianz Stadium.
However, he is set to sign a contract extension until 2022 which would reportedly include salary around £4.5million.
Despite that, Corriere dello Sport reported that Premier League champions are ready to make a January move for Brazilian defender.
It is reported that Chelsea had a £53.75m offer rejected in the summer. However, they are keen on to up that in the New Year if Sandro decides not to sign a contract extension with Italian champions.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are keen on to complete the signing of another Serie A full-back Faouzi Ghoulam.
Napoli defender has been identified as an alternative for Alex Sandro if Antonio Conte fails to sign Brazilian star this summer Algerian defender seems to be an ideal option.
