Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema is very happy, and he has no intention of leaving the Santiago Bernabeu, despite rumours linking him with a switch to Arsenal, according to the forward’s agent.
Reports from Spain earlier last week reported that the Gunners had submitted offers fro French centre-forward ahead of the January transfer window.
The experienced French forward has only signed a new bumper deal at Real Madrid in September and his agent Karim Djaziri, has quashed speculation over a move away from Bernabeu.
“Karim Benzema is very happy at Real Madrid,” Djaziri told Sky Sports News.
“He signed a contract extension last month and has absolutely no intention of leaving the club.”
French forward has signed for Real Madrid in 2009 and has found the net for 182 times in 373 games, helping his side to claim two La Liga titles and three Champions League trophies.
The Gunners head-coach Arsene Wenger broke the club’s transfer record this summer to sign Alexandre Lacazette for £53m, while Arsene Wenger still has Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck at his disposal.
